Early next week (January 27-29) we’ll be sending some members of our team to Affiliate Summit West (#ASW20) in Las Vegas.
In the past, we’ve made it to their events on the east coast and west and have always found it to be a great experience. Dubbed as “the largest meeting place for the affiliate marketing industry”, it’s quite clearly a tremendous opportunity to network and soak up as much knowledge as possible.
According to our VP of Finance, Jon Moisan: “The affiliate space is constantly adapting and evolving. Meeting with affiliates and ensuring that we are knowledgeable of changes and implementing the newest and best strategies for each of our clients is pivotal to the success of our advertisers. In addition, the affiliate space is extremely relationship-based and meeting with affiliates face to face and furthering our personal relationships with each of them has allowed us to leverage those relationships for our clients.”
With 6,000 of the affiliate marketing industry’s stakeholders all under one roof, it’s a no-brainer to get involved and to make sure we have a presence in Las Vegas this year. In our industry, if you’re not always learning, adapting, and evolving, there’s a good chance you aren’t going to sustain success.
There will be affiliates, representatives from the affiliate networks, brands, merchants, and intermediaries at the event. We see it as a chance to put faces to names, to meet new people who we can potentially do business with, and hey… it’s Las Vegas. I’m sure we’ll have a little fun too, along the way.
With 60 countries represented, the event has truly become international. There are 310 exhibitors and sponsors and over 75 expert speakers that will be working at the event this year. We’re looking forward to meeting as many of them as possible.
With a mix of brands, advertisers, affiliates, and agencies large and small, anyone is welcome to attend as long as they have an interest in the space. This is great, because everyone has something to contribute.
We’ll be happy to meet with Forbes and BuzzFeed, but it could end up being a much smaller and less well-known affiliate who turns out to be doing something super awesome and innovative. That’s the thing we love about these events.
If you’re around Las Vegas next week, give us a holler. We’d love to meet you!
